All of our platform bed frames are made from solid hardwood sustainably harvested from local forests and built in the USA. Our preferred species are American Black Cherry (prunus serontina), black walnut (juglans nigra), sugar maple (acer saccharum),  and red oak. Our Hawthorne Platform Bed, shown here in cherry, is available in all sizes from a twin to a king, including California King. Our Atlantic Platform Bed was inspired by similar bed frames made in Shaker communities in the 19th century.  Whereas the Shakers made only narrow beds to sleep a single Shaker, we make ours in all standard sizes to accommodate present fashion from a twin or full all the way up to a king or California King.
