Our Basic Platform Bed shares the construction features of our other beds without a headboard. It is available also with a headboard upholstered in your choice of fabric
You can be certain that our platform beds will last for many, many years owing to our mortise and tenon bolted construction. The mattress is supported by an array of hardwood slats reinforced with a central beam and center support leg.
Many of our platform bed designs can be dis-assembled for shipment via UPS or FedEx.
We make the Harrison Basic Platform Bed in solid American black cherry, black walnut, or sugar maple at our workshop in the former Brooklyn Navy Yard. Our beds are precisely crafted from solid wood, as it comes from a tree, not plywood or particle board.
