Our Westminster Trestle Table design takes its name from similar tables designed by AWN Pugin for Westminster Palace in London. We made a variant of this table suited to wider widths that we have named the Pugin Trestle Table.
The design features a truss structure running between the trestles. The combination of triangle elements in the design lend the table remarkable rigidity.
All of our table tops are made using a floating dovetail batten to ensure a lifetime of structural integrity.
The Westminster Trestle Table is available starting at 66″ long and can be as large as 120″ in length. The table shown here measures 72″w x 42″d x 30″h and easily seats 6 – 8.
Below is pictured a pair of Westminster Trestle tables measuring about 10′ long that are joined together creating a large surface of 10′ by 6′. This pair of table along with the console variant also pictured was commissioned for a classroom in the Physics department at Barnard College.
