Our workshop crafted this blanket chest from solid American Black walnut with an Aromatic red cedar bottom panel (Juniperus virginiana). This cedar is known for its moth repelling characteristics making it ideal for lining cabinetry designed to hold woolens. Other details include beautiful through dovetail joinery, a hand rubbed oil and wax finish, and a brass opening and closing mechanism safe for hands and fingers.
This piece measure 60″W x 20″D x 20″H and is a perfect storage chest at the end of a bed. We also make our cedar lined blanket chest in cherry
