Pictured here is a five drawer dresser measuring 39 inches wide.
We have also made similar compositions designed by Ania Stempi; a six drawer vertical arrangement in cherry and an eight drawer horizontal with asymmetrical drawers in walnut.
The construction of this dresser, like all of our cabinetry, is from solid hardwood with mortise and tenon joinery.
The five drawer dresser shown here is made from American Elm of trees that grew in Prospect Park. The trees were victims of Dutch Elm disease in the early 1990s and were removed from the park and cut into lumber. Although we no longer have a supply of this particular lumber we can make dressers in any available local wood species.
